Hydraulic diaphragm accumulators are compact energy-storage devices with a high-tensile steel shell and a flexible diaphragm separating the fluid and gas sections. The gas side is pre-charged with inert nitrogen to an application-specific pressure, enabling rapid response and stable system pressure.
During operation, pressurized fluid enters through the port and compresses the pre-charged gas. When system pressure drops, the compressed gas expands and instantly returns fluid to the circuit, delivering energy for start-up, smoothing pulsations, and improving safety.
