Accumulator High Pressure Booster Unit (N2-Server)

Standard commercial gas bottles are usually loaded at 100–120 bar. For applications requiring pre-charge pressures beyond 120 bar, additional equipment is required. The Accumulator High Pressure Booster Unit is specifically designed to achieve this.

How the High Pressure Booster Unit Works

The booster unit is a compact hydraulic system with an oil supply and a piston accumulator that functions as a compressor for nitrogen (inert gas). The required pre-charge pressure is set via a digital display; once started, the piston accumulator compresses the nitrogen until the set pressure is reached. The charging cycle then completes and stops automatically.

Applications of N2 Booster Units

Our N2-Servers (booster units) are suitable for charging and supplementing pre-charge pressure in diaphragm, bladder, and piston accumulators, as well as in accumulator stations (both bladder and piston configurations).

FAQ

An Accumulators High Pressure Booster Unit is a specialized hydraulic system designed to charge accumulators using nitrogen gas at pressures of 120 bar or more. It consists of an oil supply unit with a piston accumulator that acts as a compressor for nitrogen and other inert gases. The unit enables precise control of pre-charge pressure via an electronic display.

Commercial gas bottles typically provide pressures of 100–120 bar. If your hydraulic applications require pre-charge levels above 120 bar, a High Pressure Booster Unit is essential to safely and quickly achieve and maintain those higher pressures.

The booster unit functions as a compact hydraulic system. The desired pre-charge pressure is set using the digital display. Once activated, the piston accumulator compresses nitrogen until the set pressure is reached. The charging process then stops automatically, ensuring accurate and consistent results.

The High Pressure Booster Unit is compatible with all types of accumulators, including:

  • Diaphragm accumulators
  • Bladder accumulators
  • Piston accumulators
  • Complete accumulator stations (piston and bladder models)

Yes. The High Pressure Booster Unit can be used for both the initial charging of accumulators and for increasing existing pre-charge pressure levels. This versatility makes it highly useful for both system setup and ongoing maintenance needs.

The booster unit is designed to overcome the 120 bar limitation of standard commercial gas bottles. It provides precise pressure control for high-pressure accumulator applications. For detailed pressure ranges and specifications, contact Techknow Engineering Enterprise for product-specific data.
